Yulius Passed Exam 70-290 MCP: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment



On 27 June 2008, I was having Microsoft Exam of 70-290 at ExecueTrain. I took the Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment because I was also interesting in system & network (besides software development and IT Management) and there was a Microsoft exam promotion. Relying on my knowledges and 6 months experiences as a System Administrator in a multinational company, I encouraged myself to take the exam. I got 757 of 1000. I could achieve it because of my hard work and the favor of God.

So, what do these results mean?
Amazing! I achieved a passing score on this Microsoft Certification Program exam.
Now, I earn the Microsoft Certified Professional: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment certification.In addition, this is my 3rd Microsoft certification. There is one exam left to be a MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator). Thx God.

Exam 70-290 MCP: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment

Microsoft's 70-290 test is designed to measure your ability to manage and maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment. Upon passing this test you will become a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Passing this test will also help you in achieving the MCDBA, MCSA and MCSE 2003 certifications.

This test prepares you for various job roles, which include: systems engineer, systems administrator, network administrator, information systems administrator, technical support engineers, systems analysts, network analysts and technical consultants. If you would like to know more about the Windows Server 2003 Environment 70-290 test please visit the Microsoft website.

The test is appropriate for you if you are working or want to work in a typically complex computing environment of medium-to-large organizations. There are no specific prerequisites for this test, although it is recommended that you should have at least one year of experience in implementing and administering network operating systems in network environments.

A MCP: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment has the abilities to:
-Create and manage user, group, and computer accounts
-Manage file and share permissions
-Help control Web server access and manage sites with Internet Information Services (IIS)
-Manage hardware devices, disk storage, software, and print services
-Implement backup procedures and perform system recovery

This test consists of Multiple Choice, Hot Area, Drag and Drop, Build list and reorder, and Build a Tree questions. The test can be adaptive and simulation questions might be asked. There are no Case study type questions. You will be required to attempt approximately 55 questions in 120 minutes. To pass, you need a score of 700.

On 13 June 2008, I was having Microsoft Exam of 70-670 at Iverson. I took the Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional exam because I was also interesting in system & network (besides software development and IT Management) and there was a Microsoft exam promotion. Upon passing this test you will become a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Passing this test will also help you in achieving the MCSE 2003, MCSE 2000, MCSA 2003 and MCSA 2000 certifications.

This test prepares you for various job roles, which include: systems engineer, systems administrator, network administrator, information systems administrator, technical support engineers, systems analysts, network analysts and technical consultants. Yulius Passed Exam 70-631 TS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuring



On 23 May 2008, I was having Microsoft Exam of 70-670 at Iverson. I took the SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuring exam because I was interesting in web development and there was a Microsoft exam promotion. Only with one month experience in SharePoint, I passed the exam. I got 890 of 1000. Isn’t it awesome? Hehe.. I could achieve it because of my hard work and the favor of God.

Exam 70-631 MCTS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Configuring

An Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – Configuration certification validates the skills to configure Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and focuses on deploying, monitoring, administering, customizing, securing, and configuring a network infrastructure for Windows SharePoint Services. The successful candidate has the skills to configure Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and has a general understanding of Internet Security and Acceleration Server (IIS) and network load-balancing for applications.

Candidates seeking the MCTS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 – Configuration credential must pass one exam that focuses on the following:
• Monitoring and configuring security settings
• Administering Windows SharePoint Services
• Managing customization
• Configuring a network infrastructure for Windows SharePoint Services
